All the Best Watches From Watches and Wonders 2022

After COVID-19 put the world on pause for two years, it’s time to clock in again—and what better way to do so than with a chic timepiece? As expected, the return of the Watches and Wonders convention was rife with excitement and energy, largely because, funnily enough, the luxury watch market remained on fire throughout the pandemic, a huge boon for the fashion industry. And the enthusiasm was palpable in the halls of the Palexpo in Geneva, Switzerland last week. Watch and jewelry makers brought their A-game, offering an assortment of covetable pieces across a vast spectrum of styles, from updated classics like the Rolex left-handed GMT with a black and green bezel to bold saturated colors at Hublot. At Van Cleef & Arpels, a bouquet of flowers on the dial tells the time, via the number of flowers opened instead of the classic placement of numbers. Fully pavéd dials, as well as ornate bracelets and cases were offered at many houses, and nods to astrology were on prominent display—a testament to our collective faith in the stars to help lead us through difficult times. But a nice watch certainly doesn’t hurt either. With that in mind, here are 11 of our favorites.
